Flying Fish is owned and run by Grand Bahamians. Starting as a small local restaurant, Flying Fish is now regarded as one of the best restaurants in The Bahamas. It only serves sustainable seafood, fresh not frozen, only in season. This is a big thing for them. They believe that “We live on an island and the ocean is what sustains many people here. We believe that the mismanagement of the ocean will destroy the Bahamian economy and way of life.”
